Michael S. Han, a native of Washington D.C., founded Envion in January 2002. He is a leading force in the environmental renewable energy industry and has been instrumental in building Envion into one of the world's leading waste-to-energy technology companies. Mr. Han has served as Company Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and Founder since its inception. His focus at Envion includes optimizing corporate strategy, developing Envion's technological and environmental vision, forming strong global strategic business partnerships and joint ventures, and recruiting key worldwide talent. Prior to creating Envion, Mr. Han spent nearly two decades as an investment strategist and principal investor. In addition to his business endeavors, Mr. Han has been a guest lecturer at industry business intelligence and e-business conferences and his work and ideas have been featured in Fortune magazine, Virginia Business, and the Washington Post. He also founded PEAK (Participating in Entrepreneurial Activities for Kids), an international non-profit group promoting business skills, economic development, and entrepreneurship in Washington, D.C. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Envion, HANBROS & Co., Merging Arts Studios, and several other private companies in which he holds significant investments.
